President

  • Leader and key contact for the PTA Chairpersons

  • Coordinate all work of the officers and appoints all Committee Chairs

  • Presides over all PTA Meetings

  • Establish a calendar of events with the PSE Principal that will require volunteers support

  • Liaison between PTA Board and Administration

Vice President

  • Create/Coordinate Fundraising ideas

  • Plan and organize PTA Events

  • Coordinate merchandise including spirit wear

  • Research available grants

  • Manage community relationship development

Secretary

  • Create meeting agenda

  • Attend all PTA Board and General PTA Meetings

  • Record the meeting minutes

Treasurer

  • Maintain all Financial reports and PTA budgets

  • Maintain Bank Account/Checkbook

  • Manage all PTA Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables

  • Files the yearly tax return with the IRS by November 15th using the 990-N (e-postcard)

  • Files a yearly Financial Review Form and a Financial Review Checklist with the SCPTA by October 1st

  • Tracks all grant usage
